Community of Santo Expedito

I am just back from visiting the community of Santo Expedito. I never heard of this saint before, but people have migrated to here from elsewhere and as always they bring with them their customs and even their saints. I think he was a Roman soldier who was a Christian. The people telll me he is Patron Saint of Urgent Causes.
