Not really a one-horse-town but I did find only one horse in the local rodeo grounds. I think it was left behind after the 4-day rodeo last month.

Main Street in the Rodeo Grounds. these are purpose built shops or bars and are used only for the 4-day Rodeo every year. The rest of the year they are vacant.

The water lorry damping down the dusty roads - this goes on every day during the dry season. I wonder to myself would the cost of paying for this job not pay for the job of tarring the road in the first place?
