Baptismal Course

As with all parishes there is a Baptismal Course. Here it is every three months in the mother church. It is the laity who organise and run the course. It happened on the same weekend I had two visitors, Fr. George Corrr, Superior Kiltegan South American Mission {My New Boss} and Fr. Leo Dolan a volunteer like myself form Clifton {Bristol} Diocese. The Baptisms themselves take place in the local community church. Thankfully, George agreed to give the priest's input for me. In fact both men gave me a rest from preaching this weekend. It takes me about two days to write and translate a homily and learn to pronounce the words.
