The local youth help out by washing and cleaning the parish property {and themsleves}. The first job on hand was to spend an hour connecting up the music system.
A Wet Crew
Just get a lorry load of water and dump it on the dusty floor and sweep the lot out the door. There are openings but no windows in the dance hall and so it is covered with an inch of dust since it was last used, I think since last years dance. Sometimes it is used as a wake house as it is not good for health reasons to leave a persons remains in the enclosed church all night.
